"Keep calm and carry on" is a catchphrase that Britain first adopted during World War II -- and while the country may not be at war anymore, it's become a motto as we continue to fight our own personal battles.
The Duchess of Cambridge redefined the spirit of the phrase in the past week -- her new motto could easily be: "Keep calm and carry on with a smile." You can only imagine what was going through her mind when she stepped out in front of a vast media presence in Kuala Lumpur last Friday, knowing everyone there had seen pictures of her topless, after photos of her on holiday were published overnight in a French magazine.
A palace source said she was upset. The irony, of course, was that that day she was dressed as conservatively as she could be, because she was visiting a mosque.
After an eventful nine-day journey that took them to Singapore, Malaysia and the Solomon Islands, William and Kate were waved off from their final stop, Tuvalu, on Wednesday.
William and Kate were taken by a carriage carried by about 20 men to their charter plane. They were due to briefly stop in Brisbane, Australia, before boarding a flight to London.
The tour was overshadowed by the controversy surrounding published photos of Kate sunbathing topless in France. But the couple will also remember it for the vast numbers of people who turned out to meet them and welcome to the various countries.
As a source in their party said, “They had one objective: to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It’s not for us to judge whether that was a success or not, from their point of view, they felt able to do her life and the diversity of the nations she represents justice.”
When the phrase "Keep calm and carry on" was first adopted it was all about hiding your emotions with a straight face. Kate and William are doing that with a smile. In Tuvalu, they weren't just coping -- they were separating their public and their private lives, and that's what they want the media to do.
William will one day be king and is taking on more and more responsibilities from his grandmother. In Kate, he has found his "strength and stay" -- a phrase the Queen used to describe her own husband and rock Prince Philip.
This tour has shown William couldn't have found anyone stronger in his future queen.

This Group Is On Hiatus
For half a year now, I have been sick and was hospitalized so the group is a bit neglected. I have received many messages, mostly cursing and insulting me for not accepting any artwork. Obviously, they don't have real lives because I actually do and I was taking care of my illness. So I apologized that I didn't have an announcement whatsoever about this group for a long time, that was my bad. But those who actually cursing me, I won't apologize. People need to learn that they shouldn't take anything personally, especially when their artworks don't get immediately approved.
The group is on hiatus now, unfortunately. Maybe I would post any new
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to introduce Baby
Prince Harry and Meghan, who welcomed Baby Sussex at 5.26am on Monday, have been enjoying the experience of being new parents at their Frogmore Cottage home near the Queen's Windsor Castle residence. Although the new parents are ready to present their child, it is yet to be confirmed whether they have decided on their son's name.
Following the arrival, Harry held an impromptu press conference outside on the grounds of Windsor Castle. When asked about the name, the new dad replied: "The baby was a little bit overdue so we've had a little bit of time to think about it. That's the next bit." At the time, Harry also confirmed to make another ann
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Goes Into Labor
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, the wife of Prince Harry, has gone into labor for the birth of their first child, Buckingham Palace said on Monday. The child will be the first mixed-race baby in the British monarchy’s modern history.
As a direct descendant of Harry, the baby will be seventh in line to the throne. It is not clear whether the child will receive a royal title, like those bestowed on the three children of Prince William, Harry’s older brother, and his wife, Catherine.
Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, announced in October that they were expecting. Details of the pregnancy, including the expected birth date and the baby’s

Happy birthday, Prince Charles!
The British royal turns 70 Wednesday, and he's celebrating in style.
Here's how the prince has been celebrating his birthday and what he still has planned:
Charles had tea Wednesday with a group of people who are also turning 70 this year.
When asked how he felt on his birthday, Charles reportedly said he had some mixed feelings about the milestone.
"It's rather like indigestion," he said. " 'Many Happy Returns' are not quite the same as you get older."
He then attended a Buckingham Palace party thrown by his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
